Too Many Flowers is a lush, expressive floral still life that celebrates the wonderful chaos of an overflowing bouquet.

Soft pinks, creamy whites, buttery yellows and deep burgundy blooms tumble together in a loose, abundant arrangement. Painted intuitively, the composition combines energetic brushwork with delicate marks, allowing flowers, foliage and surrounding space to merge and overlap.

The generous bouquet sits against a softly layered, neutral background, while a dark sweep of colour brings contrast and anchors the composition. Moving between observation and abstraction, the painting captures the fleeting beauty of flowers without becoming overly concerned with their precise details.

Romantic without being overly traditional, Too Many Flowers brings warmth, character and a touch of joyful disorder to contemporary and classic interiors.

Finished in a natural raw oak float frame that complements the painting's soft, earthy palette.
