Petal Drift - original acrylic painting

Original acrylic painting on thick-profile canvas

Petal Drift is a playful, contemporary interpretation of a floral arrangement, where loose, expressive forms float across a soft blush-pink ground.

Painted intuitively, the composition brings together vibrant yellows, deep magentas, fresh greens and inky blues. Fluid brushwork and delicate gestural marks suggest petals, stems and leaves without describing them too literally, allowing the painting to move between botanical observation and abstraction.

The generous areas of soft pink create a sense of space and lightness, while unexpected colour combinations bring movement and energy to the composition. A fresh, contemporary take on the traditional floral still life, Petal Drift brings colour and personality to both modern and classic interiors.

Painted on a thick-profile canvas with no additional framing required.
