Original oil painting on canvas 42 × 32 cm Framed in a raw oak float frame
A Strange Bouquet is a playful, expressive floral painting that sits somewhere between botanical still life and abstraction.
Soft blush pinks, creamy whites and pale lilacs are punctuated by earthy terracotta, mustard yellow and rich green. Loosely suggested petals and foliage overlap and merge, creating an unconventional arrangement that feels both familiar and wonderfully strange.
Painted intuitively, the composition combines fluid brushwork, layered colour and delicate drawn marks.
Finished in a natural oak float frame that complements the painting's soft, earthy colours.
